Meg C. O'Connor
Writer & Systems Analyst

I’m a storyteller across mediums, from fiction to data visualization. Across my work, I’m interested in how systems of power shape the lives of people who are vulnerable, misread, or a little out of place—and how those people push back.

My fiction spans literary and speculative forms, often centered on disability, witnessing injustice, and reclaiming power against the odds. I recently completed a mystery novel set in Key West and continue to develop character-driven work across genres. I also write and speak about AI in healthcare from a patient perspective, bringing narrative thinking to conversations about data, access, and care.

My travel writing appears at Travel Lemming, where I write about Louisiana and New Orleans through the lens of place and culture. I’m a member of Mystery Writers of America and am currently developing a horror novella inspired by the Oregon Trail in collaboration with Tower Way, a film and television production company.
